今天小編要介紹的片語是【trade in】:

To give (something, such as a car) to a dealer etc. in part exchange for a new model so  that one gets this a t a reduced price.

套中文我們常說的折舊換新的意思囉!!例如拿家中的舊螢幕或車子去換新的，並且從中可以得到些折扣，很多手機大廠也都有類似的方案^^

例句:

1. 1.      Jill doesn’t have her sports car any more – she traded it in for a family saloon
2. 2.     I traded in my old car and bought a brand new one.
3. 3.     He traded in his car for a new model.
