今天小編要介紹的片語是【soak up】: to absorb (something), to lie or sit for a long time in (sunshine):
ex:

1. 1.      To blotting paper soaked up the ink.
2. 2.      It’s a pity to waste all this sunshine- let’s go out and soak it up.
3. 3.      The girls lay on the beach and soaked up the hot sunshine.

這裡是有吸收浸泡的意思，或是沈浸(在工做…..)
