先複習上週片語【stave off】避免…發生，例如We will bring some fruit and bread on the journey to stave off hunger.

新片語為【talk into】to persuade (someone) to do something:

=win over = talk round

例句:

1. 1.      Harry talked his friends into joining him.
2. 2.      We didn’t want to go swimming, but Lucy talked us into it.
3. 3.      Fred eventually talked Tina into going out on a date with him.
