今天小編還是要介紹片語^^

【shut down】to close ( a business, etc) completely so that it no longer operates.

1. 1.      The old man had to shut down his business when he became ill.
2. 2.      The firm has decided to shut all their county branches down.
3. 3.      Lan was very upset when he realized that he would have to shut down his shop because it was not making any money.

將電腦或機器關掉也是可以使用此片語喔!
