今天小編要介紹的片語是【put in for】to apply for ( a job, competition, etc. )

Ex.

1. 1.      Jim has put in for a job in a different department.
2. 2.      Several jobs were advertised and hundreds of applicants put in for them
3. 3.      Mike got good marks in his exams and he is going to start putting in for a better job straight away.

平時生活中，我們會去申請一些東西或會員，就是可以用這詞喔!
