Grieve (V) /ˈgriːv/ :

1. 1.    to cause (someone) to feel sad or unhappy使….難過

Ex. Her decision to live overseas grieved her mother

1. 2.    to feel or show grief or sadness 感到悲傷，哀悼

Ex. People need time to grieve after the death of a family member.
